FOUNDER, ARTISTIC DIRECTOR
Wendy Ewan is an award-winning writer and educator who holds an MFA in Stage and Screen Writing from Lesley University's low-residency program in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Her ten-minute play, "My First Love" was a 2020 "THE SEVEN" Fusion Festival winner and her work has been recognized by The Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival, The Playwrights' Center, The National Playwrights Conference, and ITVFest script competition. She grew up in Santa Fe, New Mexico, the place that cultivated her love of magical realism, ghosts and teenage drama, and created Scribe Stages to help emerging writers develop their work, realizing that a play doesn't really exist until an actor has touched it. She has had several productions in Los Angeles and is a proud member of the Playwrights' Center and the Dramatists Guild of America.
